Counseling Appointments

  • Counseling appointments may be scheduled with our Counseling Office Assistant (Debbie Novak or Jamie Morely) between 7:30 am and 4:00pm.
  • Student's can "drop-in" to see a counselor during lunch or after school. The Counseling Office can be reached at 891-3050 ext 225 or via e-mail.

Changing or Dropping a Class

The Counseling Department urges students to discuss course selection with parent and school personnel prior to registration for classes.   Class changes cause major disruption to classroom instruction and student learning. There are very few instances when a class change will be allowed:

  • Data processing errors
  • Improper placement
  • To meet a graduation requirement
  • A "D" or "F" grade from spring semester indicates the student should repeat a course
  • Student is academically over-programmed and needs to adjust the academic load
 

Spring 2019 Schedule Changes

  • The last day to initiate a schedule change is January 11, 2019.
    •  Changes made after the first week of the semester must be teacher initiated.
      • If a class is dropped after February 15th the student will receive an "F".    

Transcript Request

  • To request a transcript, please complete the Transcript Request Form.
  • Transcripts are FREE to current students and the Class of 2016.
  • There is a $3.00 processing fee for each transcript. Accepted payments are cash, money order, or checks.  Made payable to Chico Unified School District PV. Checks may be mailed to: Pleasant Valley High School, 1475 East Avenue, Chico, CA 95926.
  • Transcripts will not be processed until a signature and fee are received.
