Tuesday, February 28th at 6 p.m. in the Center for the Arts at PV – Freshman Course Planning Night
Parents will meet with PV counselors to get individualized information about course selection for high school classes, as well as addressing other parent concerns. Counselors will give detailed information about high school graduation, college entrance requirements and appropriate course selection depending on the student’s individual goals. After the general presentation and question and answer period, parents will be able to meet with their student’s PV counselor to ask individual questions.
It is important for parents to attend both the February 7 and February 28 meetings for complete information. The information that you will receive when you attend both of the evening meetings will assist you in understanding the curriculum, guiding your student’s course selection process, and will introduce the Pleasant Valley counseling, teaching and administrative staff.
Immediately following the Freshman Course Planning presentation with the PV Counselors, students and parents interested in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program will have an opportunity to meet the IB program coordinator and learn about IB course options and other important elements of the program.
