Please join us for College Night on Monday, October 29th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the PVHS Library. All grade levels are welcome but seniors and juniors will find the evening to be especially informative as they begin planning for college admissions. Students and families will be able to choose from a variety of workshops focused on: the college application process, financial aid, Butte College transfer information, and college entrance testing and assessment (SAT, ACT and EAP). Representatives from Chico State University, Butte College and PVHS Counseling department will be present to support your child in planning for their post high school goals.

Financial Aid Night - Thursday, November 29th at 6:00 in the PVSH Library

Required registration is at 5:30 and the program starts at 6:00 p.m. Representatives from Butte College and Chico State Financial Aid Offices will be providing valuable information, answering questions and are able to help you get on a computer and begin completing the FAFSA.

Students will be able to submit a FAFSA® beginning in October. Students will be able to file a 2018–19 FAFSA as early as Oct. 1, 2018. This early submission date is a recent change to the FAFSA application process, enabling students to complete and submit a FAFSA as early as October 1 every year. The FAFSA must be submitted by March 2nd, 2019. Students and parents will be required to report income information from the 2017 tax year.

All college bound students who plan to apply for Financial Aid must fill out the FAFSA by 3/1/19. This form determines a student’s eligibility for state and federal financial aid programs and must be filed by parents and students.
