Dangerous Games

October 2015

Dear Parents,

A student in our community remains in the hospital after engaging in what is known among students as “the eraser challenge”.  As this rather innocuous sounding game resulted in a serious illness, we want all parents to be aware of some of the dangerous games that have gained popularity both online and in communities across the nation.

The article below from Webmd.com, summarizes five of these “games”.

We encourage all parents to have discussions with their children about these and other activities in which students could inadvertently put themselves or others in danger.
