The Connections series and Common Core series from College Prep Mathematics (CPM) are the courses that we use in Chico Unified School District for Math C, Integrated Math 1, Integrated Math 2, and Integrated Math 3.  We also use CPM Math Analysis for our Trigonometry/PreCalculus curriculum.

CPM has developed online resources such as student guides, parent guides, technology resources, extra practice and guided homework help in case a student needs extra support for daily homework.  For more information, click the following link so you can view the CPM website and all that it has to offer for students and parents.     http://www.cpm.org

Honors Trigonometry/PreCalculus is the first of two courses offered for advanced math students.  This course, along with AP/IB Calculus, will prepare students to take the IB Standard Level Math exam or the AP Calculus exam.  Both of these exams are administered in early May to students that have completed the two-year sequence of courses.   College credits may be earned by taking AP or IB exams.

AP Statistics is another option for students advancing beyond Algebra 2.  This course also provides the opportunity to take an Advanced Placement test in early May to earn college credits and possible exemption from taking the course at a university.
