About the Teacher
My name is Jenn Flory. I have been teaching since 2000, and have taught a variety of grade levels throughout the years. I have a multiple subjects credential as well as a single subject English credential, and a Certificate of Eligibility in the area of Administration. I have always been academically strong in English, and I love teaching this subject!
I am married to a fellow teacher. My husband, Mr. Flory, teaches Biology and Global Science here at Pleasant Valley High School as well. Some students are "fortunate" enough to have both of us on their schedules:) My two sons, Andrew (26) and Nick (23) are Pleasant Valley High School Graduates, and my experiences both as a parent and as an educator here have been extremely positive - GO VIKINGS!
I am an "Army Brat" so I attended four different high schools as a teenager, a couple of them while my dad was stationed in Europe. I am happy to be settled in one spot as an adult!
I have two adorable Chihuahuas, Bam Bam (The Great Bambino), and Yogi (Yogi Berra). It is obvious that I am a New York Yankees fan...
