Car Raffle
2020 will mark the 10th year that we have had the car raffle here in Chico which has raised over 1 million dollars for Chico High and Pleasant Valley High School athletic programs. This has turned into a huge community event where an army of high school athletes join together each fall to sell $20 tickets for a chance to with a brand new car. Chico Nissan Hyundai graciously donates the new car which is raffled off during half time of the annual Almond Bowl football game.
The Pleasant Valley Sports Boosters helps organize the event for our athletes here on campus. The baseball program directly receives 80 percent of all their ticket sales with the remaining 20 percent going into the sports booster's general fund. This is a huge fundraiser that is crucial to the survival of our baseball program.
